Havel/Beckett: Theatres of Conscience premiered last night

Last night a special event of theatre, music and poetry premiered at the Samuel Beckett Theatre to celebrate the work of Václav Havel and Samuel Beckett, and to reflect about humans rights and political activism in Europe after the fall of the Berlin Wall. The event was produced in collaboration between Trinity College Dublin and the Czech Embassy. I had the privilege of directing (in collaboration with Nicholas Johnson) Beckett’s Catastrophe and Havel’s Mistake.
